The fabric stickers will make quite the impression on your secret crush.
Pop some pink thread in your sewing machine and go to town. It adds another great layer of texture to the taffeta ribbon, cotton paper with gilding, velvet cardstock, and slick tags.
Make a little pocket to keep a secret love note with the stiff velvet paper. First line with gilded paper, then punch holes, thread fabric through to secure. Decorate, and tuck in the note. And don't forget the other side!
Hugs and Kisses!
Another cute card with a hidden note. See how tearing the paper gives it the look of love notes past.
By layering the fabric and paper you get a great background for a bold statement.
The back of the card is just as cute and clever.
Form your card like a matchbook and use a peice of ribbon to aid opening and closing so the user can get straight to the message:
The velvet paper was torn with a deckle edged ruler for this unique look.
Mix and match the included fabric letters for a sweet look!
To get the velvet paper thin enough to punch peel the back off like a sticker off a sheet. It's easy to do and makes a very flexible fun product to work with. I first ran strips of this thinner velvet through a xyron, then when I punched I had an instant sticker.
Another great example of sewing, this time the zig zag stitch completely encases the thinest of the kit ribbon, making a great raised element on the card.
These supplies also work great to make up little embellishments for your scrapbook pages. Again I pulled apart the velvet paper to make this thinner for the page.
This long card was cut with a utility knife, and then torn on one edge with a deckle edged ruler. The fabric is wrapped around nice and tight to hold up strips of the sparkly paper to write little notes on.
Use your extra paper tags and white rat tail cord to put a few of our favorite sentiments on the front of a card. To keep these in place I used small bits of super strong double sided tape.
Chances are you'll have an extra x in your kit. Why not pair it with an o and give some hugs and kisses?
Inside I've made a list of all the things I adore about my love. I'm getting married soon, so I've got lots of mushy things to say about my man.
Love it! Nice and simple, lined on the back with more of the fun gilded paper, plenty of room to make a lengthy note.
These little dangling charms are just darling! A great use for even the smallest scrap of paper. And the back:
